The m/v Alliance New York, built in 2005, can carry the equivalency of 6100 cars.  She is the newest Roll-On Roll-Off vessel in the U.S. flag commercial fleet.  Her 12 decks can accommodate the largest and heaviest rolling cargo via her stern ramp (150 metric tons).  Her main deck can accommodate cargo up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) high.
